Return Path Has Interns! Meet Service Intern Adam Beeharry

Hard at work, our summer interns are digging deep into their projects and immersing themselves in the new surroundings the Email Genius Academy experience provides.

We want to give you a taste of this experience, so we’ve decided to spotlight an intern in a blog post each week!

This week’s spotlight features Adam Beeharry! He’s a Business Development Intern who works at our office in London.

Tell us a little about yourself!
I am from a small town in Essex called Stanford-Le-Hope, located next to the River Thames. I have just finished my degree in Accounting and Finance, which I enjoyed studying whilst in Canterbury. In my free time, I like to play tennis and spend time relaxing with friends.

safariWhat made you want to intern at Return Path?
I wanted to challenge myself and try something I have never done before, therefore, interning at Return Path seemed perfect for me.

The rotations between sales, services, and consultancy offered me a good opportunity to get to know the company whilst building skills in areas I have little experience in.

Feedback from past and current employees all stated that this is a great company to work for, and after being here for seven weeks, I can say that this is certainly true.

What are your main projects at Return Path?
My projects at Return Path vary week by week, and with each rotation between the departments here, I will be doing something different.

At the moment, I am on the services team, and nearly every day, I spend some time with one of our account coordinators monitoring and reporting for certain customers.

I am also in the process of monitoring customer emails using test accounts from the big four mailbox providers and documenting anything out of place.

What do you enjoy the most about being an intern at Return Path?
Apart from being located next to Europe’s busiest shopping street, I enjoy the fact I can experience things I haven’t done before.

Meeting customers at their offices in London and attending internal, insightful meetings are just some of the things which I like.

Everyone here is supportive and open, and so with each week that passes, I learn something new.

When you’re not working, what can you be found doing in London?
I enjoy visiting the different attractions and restaurants London has to offer. I have been to most of the iconic places here such as the London Eye, ZSL London Zoo, 20 Fenchurch Street (the walkie talkie), and the London Dungeons, to name a few.

London has some fantastic restaurants and because I enjoy eating so much, this is the perfect place to try new foods.

What is your spirit animal?
Apart from being my favourite animal, I think this would have to be a giraffe. I am relaxed and adopt a laidback attitude most of the time.
