Looking Back at 2019’s Salesforce Events

Yet again, it’s been a busy year for exciting, thought-provoking, and fun events. Validity’s 2019 calendar was jam-packed as we attended and sponsored some of the biggest, as well as the more intimate Salesforce and Salesforce Community events.

As we move into 2020, we thought it would be a good time to look back and reflect on all the amazing ways Validity was an active member in the Salesforce community in 2019.

Community Events

What better way for Validity to kick off the events calendar in 2019 than by attending a local community event in the UK’s capital? On March 8, Validity proudly sponsored London’s Calling, Europe’s largest community-led event for Salesforce professionals.

It was another sell-out event aimed at bringing people together to network and share knowledge while having fun.

Throughout the year, members of team Validity attended various other events across Europe including dreamOlé in sunny Malaga in April, the inaugural YeurDreamin’ in Amsterdam in June and French Touch Dreamin in Paris in September.

Sadly it wasn’t a clean sweep for Validity in 2019, as we missed the Salesforce community’s first foray to the Czech Republic for CzechDreamin in August. We’ll not make the same mistake twice, and we’ll do our utmost to get ourselves Eastward in 2020!

World Tour Events

While we love these smaller, community-driven events, we’d never miss out on attending a Salesforce World Tour! In 2019 we headed back to London’s ExCeL in May and, most recently, New York’s Javits Center in December to get stuck in with the who’s who of the Salesforce world.

We’re not being vainglorious when we say our booths were the busiest at these shows, and were never short of people popping over for a chat and to learn more about Validity. In London, we even had the pleasure of hosting a customer lunch as well as a special after-party in the Novotel Hotel where our guests were wined and dined, and we chatted the night away.

Hopefully, we can make this year’s after-party even bigger and better so make sure you come along!

Dreamforce and the Mother of Dragons

Of course, our calendar wouldn’t be complete without including the big one itself: Dreamforce. 2019’s event was once again fantastic, with big names secured for the largest software conference in the world. Our team wrote extensively on their experiences at Dreamforce 2019, so be sure to check out this blog for more impressions.

As well as being able to hear from a range of top tier speakers including Tim Cook, David Beckham, Barack Obama and former Mother of Dragons, Emilia Clarke, Dreamforce 2019 was a fantastic opportunity to learn from the Salesforce community, connect face-to-face with business partners and discuss all things data quality.

More, More, More for 2020

Although Validity certainly made its mark within the Salesforce community last year, we plan to attend and sponsor many more this year. We’ll continue getting the Validity brand out there across the globe and reach more people, so watch this space for more information in the coming weeks.

Here’s hoping for a brilliant new year and new decade!
