Validity Welcomes New Senior Vice President of Marketing To Foster A Sustainable Marketing Function for High Growth

SVP of Marketing Jeff Hassemer has four successful company exits under his belt and will bring his go-to-market expertise to his role.

BOSTON, July 25, 2023 – Today Validity, the leading provider of data quality and email deliverability solutions, announced the addition of its new Senior Vice President of Marketing, Jeff Hassemer, to its leadership team. This hire follows the addition of a new CRO, Jeff Lundal, as well as recent key product announcements and integrations, positioning Validity to continue offering best-in-class SaaS solutions for today’s data-driven world.

Hassemer brings over two decades of experience in senior level marketing roles with extensive leadership, management, and operations experience, including at the four companies he helped lead through successful exits. Most recently he served as Chief Marketing Officer at Adaptigent and Chief Marketing Officer at Advisera Expert Solutions. He is known for leveraging business intelligence and creative thinking to accelerate transformation that champions the organizational mission and goals. Furthermore, Hassemer has proved his ability to build powerful teams and align them to achieve results and business growth.

“Adding Jeff to the Validity leadership team will further champion our goals of high-level growth in the year ahead,” said Mark Briggs, CEO of Validity. “We are confident in his ability to strategically build out a sustainable plan for expansion. I can’t wait to see the new energy Jeff brings to the team, especially during this time, when marketing technology is evolving and the need to help our customers adapt is more urgent than ever.”

Hassemer will lead the marketing team, ensuring it is driving results and growth for the business. In the coming months, he will focus on building out a comprehensive strategy to align marketing with sales, product, and other areas of the organization. His focus is to create a sustainable, high-quality marketing function that consistently delivers impactful results for the business.

“I am excited to bring my marketing background back into the email and data quality space,” said Jeff Hassemer, SVP of Marketing at Validity. “I grew up on this business and joining Validity is like coming home to serve a market that I know well. Validity is a market leader and I’m passionate about products that have real impact on our clients’ business.”

This hire comes at the heels of recent momentum for the company despite a turbulent economy. Last quarter, Validity announced new integrations with Zapier and BriteVerify for Salesforce and a new product offering DemandTools File Edition to ensure customer data quality while improving efficiency and accuracy. Hassemer’s hire is effective immediately. Additional Validity career opportunities can be found here.
