Validity Promotes Mike Piispanen to Expanded Role as President and Chief Operating Officer Amid Continued Growth

[Boston, March 27, 2025] – Validity, Inc., the leading provider of marketing success and customer data intelligence solutions, today announced the promotion of Mike Piispanen to President, in addition to his existing role as Chief Operating Officer (COO).

Piispanen, who joined Validity in 2019 as COO, has been instrumental in driving efficiency and scaling the company’s global reach. With over two decades of leadership experience in technology and SaaS, he has played a key role in strengthening Validity’s customer retention, operational efficiencies, and product offerings to build an efficient, highly capital software business.

“Mike’s leadership has been a driving force behind Validity’s evolution and expansion,” said Mark Briggs, Chairman and CEO of Validity. “His deep understanding of our customers’ needs, coupled with his operational expertise and unwavering commitment to our team’s success, has been an enormous factor in the success Validity enjoys in the market. As we continue to deliver best-in-class solutions to several thousand customers around the globe, Mike’s exceptional leadership will be invaluable in driving our next phase of growth.”

As President and COO, Piispanen will lead Validity’s global operations, ensuring alignment across product innovation, customer success, and go-to-market strategies. He will continue to focus on empowering businesses with the data and marketing success they need to drive smarter decisions and better outcomes.

“I’m honored to take on this expanded role at such a pivotal time for Validity,” said Piispanen. “To maximize the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and enhance customer data quality, marketers rely on a fragmented tech stack. Validity is uniquely positioned to help because our comprehensive suite of tools augments and enhances the value that can be extracted from siloed customer data. I’m excited to evangelize this with our teams and our customers and to focus all our internal assets to deliver for our customers.”
