Return Path Has Interns! Meet Marketing Intern Clifford Chi

It’s here. The last week of our internship program.

As much as we don’t want our interns to leave, it’s been awesome witnessing their growth as professionals, and we are excited to see how they will fare in their next endeavor in life.

This week, we will spotlight Clifford Chi. He’s a Marketing Coordinator Intern who works at our office in Indianapolis, Indiana!

Tell us a little about yourself!
Meet Return Path Marketing Intern Clifford Chi! A member of the Email Genius Academy
I was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri (Go Cardinals) and am currently a rising junior at DePauw University where I’m pursuing a major in Economics & Management and a minor in Psychology. In my free time, I enjoy exploring my surroundings and playing guitar.

What made you want to intern at Return Path?
I was a digital marketing intern at a tech start-up last year, and I loved every second of it. I knew I wanted to pursue marketing this summer, especially at a tech company, so after I met some of Return Path’s employees and learned about their solutions, marketing strategy, and culture, I knew it was the place where I could grow the most as a professional and as an individual.

What are your main projects at Return Path?
As a marketing coordinator intern, I serve a dual role with the content marketing and marketing operations teams. My main content marketing projects were writing a case study and blog for Signature Travel Network and organizing the intern spotlight blog series. My main marketing operations project was examining Salesforce and Google Analytics data to identify our top web pages and pieces of content.

What do you enjoy the most about being an intern at Return Path?
I love that I am entrusted with work that matters, and from that, I’ve learned so much about real world marketing and how it functions. I’m also a big fan of Return Path’s culture. Everybody brings a fun and relaxed attitude to work, which makes for a vibrant office atmosphere.

When you’re not working, what can you be found doing in Indianapolis?
You can either find me golfing, at an Indianapolis Indians baseball game, or exploring the city.

What is your spirit animal?
A sea turtle. I’m an easy going guy who loves the beach.
