Return Path Acquires Email Copilot

I am beyond excited to share with you that Return Path has acquired Email Copilot, a California-based company that provides dynamic visualization, monitoring, reporting, and analysis of email deliverability data. The acquisition comprises the entire company, including all of Email Copilot’s technology assets and their existing book of business.

Why we’re so excited about Email Copilot
I cannot think of a better addition to our Email Optimization suite than this exciting data analysis technology. As a leader in the deliverability space, our goal is to provide the industry’s best and most comprehensive email optimization solution. With this new technology, our clients and partners will be able to connect disparate data sources to understand when deliverability problems occur, what’s causing those problems, and how to fix them—all in real time.

Email Copilot’s visually engaging dashboard provides pre-send data to pinpoint possible deliverability issues before they occur, as well as post-send monitoring and alerts to notify the user when deliverability results fall outside of the normal range. The Email Copilot technology will be integrated into Return Path’s existing Email Optimization solutions, reducing the noise in deliverability reporting and providing better delivery diagnostics. Combined, this data and technology will offer a highly accurate view of email marketing performance and provide best-in-class deliverability monitoring tools for email service providers and large, sophisticated senders.

What happens now?
Over the next few months, we’ll be working with the Email Copilot team—including co-founders Al Bsharah and Bryan Hall, and data scientist Colin Jemmott—to complete the transition. We’ve developed a great working relationship with this team and we’re excited to advance the incredible work they’ve done.
