How do I Create a New Analytics Campaign in Analytics?

  1. Go to your Campaigns screen and click the “Create Campaign” button at the top right.
  2. You’ll be prompted to enter a campaign name. Please use something distinct from all other campaigns.
    1. If you’ve selected your email service provider in the past, it should be preselected here.
    2. If you have not, click the dropdown to select your ESP.
    3. If your ESP is not listed in the dropdown, click the “can’t find your ESP?” link on the right. We’ll ask who your email service provider is along with any merge tag information you can provide.
    4. Merge tags help us dynamically replace content in emails, such as an email address. If you’re not sure or can’t find your merge tag, click the “can’t find your merge tag” link to contact our support team.
  3. Select your newsletter system.
  4. Select the custom tracking domain you want to use for this campaign.
  5. Click “Create Campaign” to be retrieve your tracking code.
  6. Once you’re on the tracking code screen you will be presented with some additional options.
    1. 250ok recommends checking the box to include a parameter to track your campaign ID or name.
    2. 250ok also recommends (once you have ve created some custom parameters) checking the box to include custom parameters in your tracking code.
  7. Select your tracking code by highlighting the text or clicking the “copy tracking code” button, and paste the code in the body of your email.As always, feel free to contact our support team if you have any questions.
