We’ve been big fans of Brand Indicators for Message Identification (BIMI) from the start. It’s no secret. That’s why we’re very excited to announce we’ve joined the working group strengthening and advocating for BIMI’s adoption across the ecosystem!
What does this mean for us? Well, it means we’re in great company. Currently the working group enjoys members from Agari, Comcast, Google, LinkedIn, Return Path by Validity, Valimail, and Verizon Media. It’s a strong pack of heavy-email-hitters and we’re happy to be in their ranks.
“We’ve been really pleased by the surge of interest in BIMI over the last year, culminating in major mailbox providers piloting the standard. Now, it’s time to get BIMI into the hands of brands., This is why we’re so happy to welcome Matthew Vernhout and 250ok to our group.” said Seth Blank, Director of Industry Initiatives at Valimail and Chair of the AuthIndicators Working Group. “As BIMI accelerates, brands can use it to further drive brand impressions and awareness on top of their legitimate email, and 250ok’s participation will help get BIMI in the hands of more marketers.”
As a member of the working group, we’ll be deeply involved in the future development and improvement of BIMI for all consumers of email, and we’ll also continue to provide tools and solutions for 250ok customers looking to implement the standard across their domains. Already we provide a simple wizard to help users get their BIMI record set up, and for those that need a little extra assistance achieving the required DMARC setting, we can provide the necessary information to get them there.
