To compile the Honor Roll, OTA evaluates sites and mobile applications based on dedication to consumer protection, privacy, and security. Their annual study includes nearly 1,000 sites across a variety of industries including retail, banking, social networking, media, the Internet of Things (IoT), and government agencies. It also tracks OTA members’ adoption of best practices.
The goal of the audit is to promote and accelerate the adoption of consumer protection best practices, promote data stewardship and demonstrate a commitment to meaningful self-regulation.
For 15 years, Return Path has been empowering brands to protect their customers from increasingly sophisticated email attacks, working at the center of the email ecosystem to prevent more attacks than any other vendor.
And as a founding member of the OTA and DMARC, we know that it’s only through powerful partnerships that we can continue to be successful in protecting brands and customers from online abuse.
Thank you to OTA not only for this great honor, but also for celebrating the global leaders in online security who are building a safer cyber community for businesses, brands, and customers.
