We would like to congratulate Allrecipes on winning our first ever Client Spotlight Award. Our Client Spotlight team created the award to recognize the above and beyond customer advocacy work of Return Path’s most engaged clients and brand advocates. Since joining Return Path’s Client Spotlight Program, Allrecipes has participated in an array of webinars and panels, including the 2015 and 2016 Seattle Symposium.
Allrecipes was presented the award by Return Path’s Sr. Director of Research Tom Sather during our third annual Seattle Symposium at the Bell Harbor International Conference Center in Seattle, Washington. For this year’s Symposium, Tom Sather hosted an afternoon of engaging presentations focused on the current state of deliverability as well as the future of email.
Nathan Murphy, Allrecipes’ Sr. Email Deliverability Manager, accepted the award on behalf of Allrecipes and joined Sather onstage for a featured spotlight discussion. Murphy shared his insights on their recent migration to a new Email Service Provider and the successes they’ve had with Return Path, including their most recent win: last month their newsletters saw the highest average monthly open rates since 2012. In addition, he shared some highlights into what the future holds for Allrecipes, including their renewed focus on data. “Data is driving everything; our emails are only as good as our data. This is one of the reasons we switched ESPs, to have better data integration with emails”.
